Search Finding in Florida Databases If you're an adoptee or adoptive parent - search the birthfamily database. If you're a birthfamily member - search the adoptee database. Finding in Florida is in the process of transferring all registrations to our new databases. Since there are over 6,000 registrants, this process will take a while, so until all registrants are in the new databases, the old registry will still be available. If you don't find the person you're searching for in one place, try the other.
